A psychiatric nurse practitioner, Linda Sillars is currently flourishing at the head of her private mental health practice in Auburn, N.Y. There, she practices psychotherapy management and psychiatric medical management and oversees the day-to-day operations of the organization. She also works with veterans suffering from PTSD and trauma and consults with nursing homes. To prepare for her career, she earned a master’s degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and became a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. In addition to her practical work, Ms. Sillars also helps with support and recovery on the ACT team at Catholic Charities, where she oversees 65 chronically and mentally ill people with a team of case managers, therapists and nurses.
Jean Maclean Snyder has much to be proud of. A well-respected lawyer with an expertise in litigation, intellectual property, and entertainment law, she has been a teaching team member of the Intensive Trial Practice Workshop at the University of Chicago since 2009. The workshop is led by clinical faculty with the support of seasoned, prominent litigators who volunteer their time to work with the students. During the two weeks of the workshop, students learn trial preparation, trial advocacy skills and strategy, direct and cross-examinations of witnesses, and delivering closing arguments through simulated trial exercises.
