Dr. Athema Casimire-Etzioni is distinguished for more than 15 years of exemplary veterinary services. After earning a Bachelor of Science in pre-medicine and chemistry from Xavier University, she enrolled in Tuskegee University to earn a DVM. In 2002, she received a certificate of completion for veterinary clinical pathology. She continued at Purdue University to receive a Master of Science in veterinary clinical pathology.
Presently, Dr. Casimire-Etzioni is an associate professor of clinical pathology for her alma mater, Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has held this position since 2001. Throughout her career, she has worked in research, academia, government, corporate and private practices. Additionally, she is a Relief Small Animal Veterinarian.
Dr. Casimire-Etzioni is also a member of the American Academy of Health Administrators, American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Society of Veterinarian Clinical Pathology, Omega Tau Sigma, Phi Zeta and Sigma Xi.
