Working with people in areas of anxiety, depression, trauma and addiction, Sue Neufeld-Ellis has been an active worker in the fields of counseling, nursing, addiction and psychotherapy since 1981, as well as a meditation teacher for 20 years. She is also known for owning the first eating disorder clinic in the world in 1982. An international speaker and teacher, expert on mindfulness and interventionist, Ms. Neufeld-Ellis has served as a faculty trainer in a mindfulness-based program for the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and part-time faculty member in sex addiction, partners and stress management at Bellevue Community College in Washington.
