ELENA "LENNY" LISLE

Elena Lisle

Holding considerable expertise in database, advertising, special events and promotional planning, and digital and social media, Elena “Lenny” Lisle was inspired to a career in marketing because of the combination of creative freedom and research and analytics that the career offered. She began her professional path as a recreation leader with the Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District in 1999 while working toward her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Fullerton. Graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism, with a minor in public relations, in 2003, she also obtained SQL certification and spent time as a recreation specialist with the Community Services Bureau for the city of Fullerton from 2001 to 2004. She is deeply grateful to the support of her family, and considers her parents, Ed and Carol Lisle, to be her greatest mentors.

Possessed of numerous strong leadership qualities, Ms. Lisle went on to excel at Soboba Casino Resort in San Jacinto, California, from 2005 to 2010, first as a marketing analyst and then as a promotions manager. From there, she joined Global Tracking Communications, Inc. from 2008 to 2010 before taking a leap of faith to relocate from California to Indiana to take the position of marketing manager of Indiana Live! Casino in 2011, following her passion to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. In 2013, when Indiana Live! became Indiana Grand Racing & Casino, she was promoted to director of marketing and further rose to vice president of marketing in 2019. In this role, she serves as chair of the community relations committee, has regular meetings with the general manager, liaises with her team to ensure all of the digital and social media campaigns are running smoothly, reviews the casino playlist with the IT director, and is involved with community outreach events. Furthermore, Indiana Grand was acquired by Caesars Entertainment in 2018 and is in the process of being rebranded to become Horseshoe Indianapolis, a process that is being overseen by Ms. Lisle.

Living her life by the motto “Honesty, truth and trust,” Ms. Lisle considers the highlight of her career to be her role as a leader who understands what working with a team means. In that vein, she feels that her greatest accomplishment is creating a positive work environment for her team members that encourages them to be supportive of one another. Looking toward the future, she hopes to become a general manager and work toward running her own property. In addition, Ms. Lisle has donated her time to her local chapters of Habitat for Humanity and United Way Worldwide and is a strong supporter of animal rescues. She enjoys spending her free time playing softball, bowling and golfing.
