JUDY K. GRAY

Having distinguished herself as the founder and chief executive officer of North American Herb and Spice LLC in 1999, Judy K. Gray established her business in order to provide the public with unprecedented access to truly natural, wild plant remedies. Committed to healing the world with natural medicines, her company searches for the finest, most potent medicinal ingredients in the world. Traveling to some of the most remote areas in the world, including the Canadian wilderness, the high-mountains of the Mediterranean and the Peruvian Amazon, Ms. Gray’s goal is to deliver gluten-free natural medicines that really work. Her organic, GMO-free manufacturing facility is notably located in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Ms. Gray’s whole food products, which can be found online, include a genetic imprint that only nature provides, with sun-charged ingredients that grow on raw earth and become the essential ingredients necessary for optimal health. These include products for general health, inflammation response, the immune system and stress, mood and sleep. Conducting extensive studies on over 80 different species, Ms. Gray and her team have also conducted numerous landmark studies specifically on the therapeutic powers of wild oregano oil P73, which have led the way for a renewed interest in wild oregano oil’s antiseptic powers as an alternative to antibiotics.

Ms. Gray served for eight years as the president, founder and chief executive officer of the American Institute of Curative Medicine between 1990 and 1998. She also excelled as a clinical administrator for Physician’s Clinic in Arlington Heights, Illinois, and as the director of nutrition for the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Illinois. Prior to entering the health and wellness industry, she found success as a marketing specialist and writer and taught courses at Temple University in Philadelphia, the University of Maryland, College Park, Central Texas College in Killeen, Big Bend College in Germany and the Department of the Army in Missouri. While teaching in Germany, Ms. Gray maintained activity as one of the main teachers for Project Transition 100,000, an endeavor which enabled her to travel around the world researching why certain societies live longer, healthier lives than others and examine those less fortunate

A visionary and leader in the field, Ms. Gray has been active on the board of directors for Nutrition for Optimal Health in Winnetka, Illinois, since 1985. She is a former consultant for Blue Cross Blue Shield, and former speaker for the Mid-American Health Organization and the U.S. Army. She has been featured on several national cable television shows where she has spoken on such topics as nutrition, cooking, strength and fitness. Ms. Gray has also been featured on approximately 150 radio shows and several social media channels.

Ms. Gray has worked tirelessly to contribute to her community. Her company proudly supports native groups with donations, by building schools in Kenya and Turkey, contributing to an orphanage in Nigeria, opening wells in Turkey and by sending highly effective natural supplements to those in need. She has also been affiliated with Catholic Charities, a Greater Food Foundation, the Covenant House and Heifer, has donated to numerous animal charities, including the National Tiger Sanctuary in Missouri, and planted more than 10,000 trees in Ontario, Canada. Ms. Gray holds a Master of Science in nutrition. A published writer, she has contributed articles to various professional journals and is the co-author of the 1990 book, “Eat Right or Die Young,” and the 1993 “The Handbook of Nutrition Quizzes.” She has since also published two other books as an author, titled “Kinds Need Care” and “Greatest Treasure of All.”

A recognized member of several industry-related and professional organizations, Ms. Gray is affiliated with the International Association of Clinical Nutritionists, the American Association of Clinical Nutritionists, the National Nutrition Foods Association, the National Health Federation and the Organic Consumer Association, among others. She is also active as a member of the Toastmasters Club and the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce. Honored for her achievements, she recently received a Lifetime Award for Quality and a Platinum Award for Best Immune and Oregano in 2019. Ms. Gray previously received a National Nutrition Award for Best Herb and Oregano in 2018. Additionally, she won a Nikon Photography Award in Dallas many years prior in 1984.
