KATHLEEN P. MURRAY

With nearly 25 years of experience to her credit, Kathleen P. Murray has excelled as a client advocate and a claims manager for Capstone Brokerage, Inc., since 2006. Prior to this appointment, she flourished as an account executive with the Caputo Insurance Agency, Inc., in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, from 2004 to 2006. Between 2002 and 2004, she held the position of an independent lead agent for Abraham and Petrini Insurance in Sharon, Pennsylvania. Previously, she served at the First National Bank of Pennsylvania as a commercial loan administrator from 1998 until 2002. Ms. Murray began her career as a department administrator with Trinity Industries, Inc., in Greeneville, Pennsylvania, from 1995 to 1997.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Murray pursued an education at the University of California Los Angeles, earning an Associate of Arts in journalism. She continued her academic efforts at Baldwin Wallace University, utilizing a scholarship and graduating with a Bachelor of Music in 1977. Ms. Murray concluded her studies at Pennsylvania State University, obtaining her paralegal certification, as well as a Leadership Award for Most Promising Law Student in 2003.

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Murray has found success with her written works, authoring the monthly safety newsletter for Capstone Brokerage. Additionally, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise, including the American Medical Writers Association and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc. Furthermore, Ms. Murray is fluent in a number of languages, such as French, Italian, German and Korean.

In light of her exceptional undertakings, Ms. Murray has accrued several accolades throughout her impressive career. She has been notably recognized among the Who’s Who of Executives by the National Reference Institute. She was further presented with a Certificate of Commendation for recognition of service in Client Advocacy in the state of Nevada by U.S. Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto. Moreover, Ms. Murray accepted a Certificate of Special Congregational Recognition for Outstanding Service and Excellence in Client Advocacy from the Nevada House of Representatives.

Living by the words of William Shakespeare, “To thy own self be true,” Ms. Murray attributes her success to her passion, intelligence, determination and outstanding dedication to her clients, as she simply refuses to give up on her goals. Also influenced by her grandfather, she was drawn to her career through her innate talent for writing, which was noticed while working in public relations for a medical company and subsequently resulted in her recruitment to the worker’s compensation department in a post that she adored. Looking toward the future, Ms. Murray hopes to become active in motivational speaking engagements and advocacy.
