MARGARET ANN WARWICK

Passionate and dedicated, Margaret Ann Warwick is renowned for her contributions to medical and clinical technology. Her professional journey began as a staff member and medical technologist at Jefferson Medical College Hospital and, after six years, continued as a clinical chemist for the West Jersey Health System in Camden. Ms. Warwick experienced the same rapid growth throughout the rest of her career at the West Jersey Health System in Voorhees, working as a laboratory supervisor from 1968 to 1980, the manager of clinical laboratory services at the same location from 1980 to 1985, and the quality assurance manager of clinical lab services from 1985 to 1996. That year, she utilized her now-extensive background to open her own company, Clinical Laboratory Consultant Services, Inc., in Cherry Hill, N.J. She retired from her position as the founder and president in 1996, after 11 years of service.

When Ms. Warwick wasn’t in the lab, she enjoyed giving back to her community. She was part of the faculty of the chemistry department at Harcum Junior College from 1958 to 1965, and the educational coordinator of the West Jersey Hospital School of Medical Technology from 1963 to 1981. She has also contributed her talents to her roles as the vice president of the Wilderness Acres Civic Association in Cherry Hill, the chairman of Respond Inc. at Asbury United Methodist Church in Camden, and a trustee at Wiley Church.

Ms. Warwick prepared for her endeavors by earning a Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1955. She also joined prominent professional organizations like the American Association for Clinical Chemists, the American Society for Clinical Pathology, the American Society of Medical Technologists, the Clinical Laboratory Management Association, and the New Jersey Society for Medical Technologists.

As a testament to her success, Ms. Warwick has been honored with the Marquis Distinguished Humanitarian Award in 2017 and the Worldwide Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. She was a featured member in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who of American Women, Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in the East, and Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare.

In her spare time, Ms. Warwick enjoys golfing, bowling, and fishing.
