Long interested in the health industry, Mary F. Belmore grew up dreaming of making a positive difference in the lives of others. She worked hard to achieve her goals, and has established herself as an integral part of her professional community. She is currently the associate director of research and development and quality projects and support at Sanofi Genzyme Corporation, a biotechnology company that researches and develops products for the science industry. In her role, which she has held for 13 years, Ms. Belmore is responsible for overseeing the documentation group used in manufacturing SOPs and managing the archiving groups produced by the labs, as well as the stability group for all clinical trial testing. She is known amongst her peers for her strong customer service skills and ability to deliver exceptional technical services.
Over the course of her 33 years in her field, Ms. Belmore has developed innovative health therapies for people afflicted with rare diseases. She is recognized as a strong leader, and is passionate about every project she takes on. She is often sought after for advice and guidance.
Ms. Belmore prepared for her career by earning an associate’s degree in business from Massachusetts Bay Community College. She also maintains an active membership with prominent organizations like the Society of Quality Assurance, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Saint Mary’s Parish in Grafton, Mass.
In recognition of her outstanding professional contributions, Ms. Belmore was honored as a featured member in Pro-Files Magazine, was named a Top Female Executive, and has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide. She also received the Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award for dedication, achievement and leadership in technical and customer services. Looking to the future, Ms. Belmore hopes to continue on her path of excellence and grow and learn within her company.
When Ms. Belmore isn’t providing others with a better quality of life, she enjoys bettering her own life by working out, going to the beach, and spending time with her family.
