Holding considerable expertise in coaching and consulting, Latrina Fletcher-Moore has excelled as the chief executive officer, president and owner of Serene Meadows Hospice since 2014. Operating in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metropolitan area, she employs roughly 25 nurses and care staff that travel to their patients homes in order to provide quality end-of-life care. Although not a nurse herself, Ms. Fletcher-Moore involves herself closely with the patients that they see, accompanying nurses to visit clients and taking the time to meet with everyone who comes looking for assistance. DIANE BROWN BALDERSON

With a longstanding love of taking care of others, Diane Brown Balderson, RN, first earned a diploma in nursing from St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia, in 1974. Following this, she worked as a nurse in the office of Dr. M. Homer Cummings in Huntington and as a staff nurse for Timken Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She then found success at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where she worked as an ICU nurse in the open heart intensive care unit. PAMELA HARRIS LAWTON

Introduced to art as early as elementary school, Pamela Harris Lawton, EdD, quickly realized that she had a knack for it through working alongside her art teacher on projects. She had a great high school art teacher that included her in art programs and instilled in her a great interest in the field. A graduate of the University of Virginia, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in studio art and sociology in 1981. Soon thereafter, she received a Master of Fine Arts in printmaking from Howard University in 1991.
