Nancy Ehlen, MIS, CLHMS, IAHSP, GUILD, began her career as the owner and operator of The Painted Lady Salon from 1991 to 2004 and concurrently worked as a domestic engineer for Paradise Cove throughout that same period. In 1995, she married her husband, Tom Ehlen, a general contractor, and became part of his family business, which encompasses a showroom and a construction and installation company. Today, she works alongside her husband at Ehlen Floor Covering and Ehlen Construction. Once she left her salon business, Ms. Ehlen decided to pursue a career in real estate, since it would bring a new, highly complementary element to her husband’s existing construction business, and went on to achieve licensure as a real estate sales

Drawing inspiration from wonderful teachers she had as a child, Brenda Dale Perkins Butler had always known she wanted to emulate her educators and enlighten young minds. In 1971, she graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and would later conduct postgraduate coursework in economics and geography for teachers.
