Please note: The medical claims made by Sherril A. Carter, PhD, are her own and should not be taken as an endorsement of iridology by Marquis Who’s Who.
Driven by a passion for health and wellness, Sherrill A. Carter, PhD, began her studies with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1990, which she followed with a Master of Science in business administration in 2009. During this time, while she was working for a telephone company, she began bringing herbal teas to work, which she shared with her coworkers when they were feeling under the weather. Realizing that she could make a career out of providing healthy beverages to others, Dr. Carter opened Juice4Lyfe in 2019, where she serves as the chief executive officer.
To further her skills, Dr. Carter has also achieved certification as both a health coach and life coach and as an iridologist in both Maryland and Virginia. In 2019, she completed a Doctor of Philosophy in metaphysics, which she considers important to the practice of holistic healing and her belief that the iris can reflect underlying health issues. In her work with Juice4Lyfe, Dr. Carter offers consultations, manufactures her juices, and travels to various cities to distribute the juices to retailers.
Alongside her primary responsibilities, Dr. Carter has donated her time to a variety of other professional and civic endeavors. In 2017, she presented a health talk for Blacks in Government, and she also holds membership in both the Board of Metaphysics and the Surviving Vegan Detox Club. Furthermore, Dr. Carter has been activity involved in the support of her local homeless community through providing free health juices. Looking toward the future, she hopes to be able to establish a franchise location for her business, which is currently mobile. In her free time, Dr. Carter enjoys biking, going for walks in parks, spending time outdoors, traveling, and going on vacations with her family.
