Who's Who of Professional Women

TERESA GAIL REYNOLDS

Holding considerable expertise in business management, Teresa Gail Reynolds has excelled as a managing partner with Reynolds Electric Heating & Air Conditioning Service, LLC, for more than 40 years. Opening the business with her husband, Danny, when they were just 20 years old, she has been proud to serve her community for the past four decades, providing employment opportunities that enable their employees to take care of their families. In her day-to-day work, Ms. Reynolds oversees their eight technicians, all of whom they were able to keep on during the pandemic; keeps the office running smoothly; and manages marketing, collections and payables. In 2000, she earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Amberton University and has plans to pursue a master’s degree.

Alongside her work at Reynolds Electric Heating & Air Conditioning, Ms. Reynolds spent 32 years with Alcatel USA, now part of Nokia Networks. She started as an administrator and worked her way up to senior manager and is grateful for all of the experience she garnered in this role that helped her to grow as a professional. Standing out in her field for her ability to work with others, their business is also unique due to her husband’s detailed and thorough understanding of his craft and how they always work to support each other and their employees. Ms. Reynolds considers it incredibly important to give back to their employees, because without employees they would not have a business.

Attributing much of her success to hard work, perseverance and dedication, Ms. Reynolds maintains affiliation with a number of professional organizations in order to keep abreast of developments in her field. A member of the National Association of Professional Women and the Shan Estimating Organization, she is further active in her local chamber of commerce and is a registered notary public. With a great passion for making a difference in her community, she has also sponsored a number of youth groups, including youth sports teams, and local housing organizations to help tenants, particularly those with children in need of school supplies.

Furthermore, Ms. Reynolds is a member of her local church and has been incredibly grateful to all the support she has received from her church family over the years. She feels that the success of Reynolds Electric Heating & Air Conditioning was truly an answered prayer. Looking toward the future, Ms. Reynolds has plans to retire from full time work at Reynolds Electric Heating & Air Conditioning and make a shift to working in interior design. She has already begun some interior design work for friends and family. Her hope is that either a family member or one of their employees will take over the business once she retires.

For excellence in her career, Ms. Reynolds has been the recipient of a number of honors and accolades. During her time with Alcatel USA, she was presented with several awards, including the Division Award and the Project Manager Award. She went on to be featured in the International Who’s Who of Information Technology in 2000 and has also received an award from the National Association of Professional Women. Above all these accolades, Ms. Reynolds considers the highlight of her career to be the place she holds in her community. Married to her husband for many happy years, they are together the proud parents of one daughter, Dena, who is pursuing a degree in pharmacy.
